With reference to your letter of yesterday's date and previous correspondence on the subject of the S. S. "Komogata Maru", I am directed to inform you that the passenger certificate has now been signed, but that does not mean that the passengers will be allowed to land in Canada.

I should be obliged if you would inform me of the date of the vessel's departure and her destination in Canada.
